Prof. Sandra Racionero Plaza is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Barcelona.

She holds a double doctorate in Psychology and Curriculum from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

She is the 10th scientist on gender violence in the Google Scholar ranking.

Professor Racionero is one of the first authors to apply socioneuroscience to analyze autobiographical memories of gender violence victimization and, particularly, the transformative reconstruction of those memories via discussion of scientific evidence. In this field, she has led projects funded by international and national organisations obtaining significant social impact.
